Readability Mobilizer has shut down their services, so it no more works.
I would recommend you to switch to Mercury Mobilizer which is the perfect alternative to Readability Mobilizer.3 votes
i like your app on bb10, but i would like to have it on android.. because even BB itself is making models with android os; and i would love use your app on android aswell, many thanks6 votes
Can you add an option or find a way to sort articles by popularity3 votes
Check feasibility of doing this on client side
Hey, please implement an Option to choose the default Browser for open an article. i use the browsie browser at Blackberry 10, but i can not use this Browser with the rss-reader. Maybe you can add all browser, or put a general option to choose one.
Thank you3 votes
Will be done for next update
to switch the color of unread/read article background. I prefer to have white background for unread items and grey background for the read1 vote
Well, as in the title: I would love to be able to use gNewsReader on PlayBook. I don't know how much hassle it would take, but it would be cool to have PlayBook version as well.3 votes
I loved this app on my passport and with recent update the display is switched to two lines per article with huge space inbetween! Now on Passport I can only fit 5-6 articles in the view. How do I bring back the single line display??? This is no longer usable. Please help1 vote
Please see comment there will be a mode with less padding/spacing as optional setting
Similar to other requests, Zeus Browser is a native Flash Browser. It would be nice to be able to open an article in that browser instead of default.2 votes
WIll check for feasibility to add options to select from installed browser from users phone
It will be very practical and useful feature!1 vote
Make the list view black in true dark mode. I know grey is for unread articles, but this could be indicated way more simpllistic..
Maybe with a grey bar, dot etc.
Choosing a dark theme is what every AMOLEd User wants, and every list in an newsreader will default to "unread".. so makeing this grey totally defies the purpose of a dark mode..3 votes
Will think of some solutions on this area
Firstly, thanks Yoge for the excellent work put in!
I would like to propose an option to allow fullscren view by default
Have a shortcut key for fullscren mode toggle.
I'm on a BlackBerry classic. Viewing in normal mode eats up a significant portion of screen estate. It will be great to have default fullscren view without having to long-press menu to toggle it everytime I open the app!3 votes
Currently in progress, next release will remember the setting on restart and will also make it possible for all touch devices to do so in future releases
AMOLED displays (e.g. Q10) save the most power (1/3 compared to white colour) when displaying #000000 (the black pixels are completely turned off). Besides, it's called true dark mode after all. ;)15 votes
A slightly more optimized interface for the main feed/subscription page would be very useful on the Blackberry passport.
In the current UI, the feed names are quite small and you have to touch them very carefully to pick the right one.
Either a grid icon view or larger font on the feed/subscription screen only would help a lot.21 votes
Some improvements have been made for next update 126.96.36.199 which is currently under review and should be released ideally early next week based on recent experience.
Will keep this item open as few passport related changes will come in a subsequent release. please provide the feedback on 188.8.131.52 release once you get it next week, will add it for next update
Could you add an option to open links with "Hub Browser"? It's like card browser, but I personally like it better.6 votes
Can you please send email at yogeshwarp at gmail? will need some quick help from your side if possible. can add this quickly
The ability for speed read articles by using the Turbo Reader BB10 app as an option in the settings area... (other apps like readitnow support this functionality...)
Love this app and use if daily, many many thanks for all the hard work you put into it :-)9 votes
When opening an article in inline browser, the backspace key no long functions. This is especially annoying in full-screen mode where the toolbar is hidden.6 votes
The current behaviour has been changed since the backspace works even when entering values in form which makes it very annoying. once its handled correctly the shortcut will be active again
When reading an article, I would like to swipe left to right to go back to the list of articles (cascades style, similar to how the BB10 Hub works) instead of scrolling to the next/previous article. This should at least be a customizable option in the settings. I usually don't want to read most of the articles in my feed and scroll quickly through my list pretty quickly.9 votes
When reading articles using the "new articles" feed on your recent update, the articles you've read are not distinguished as they are when you are reading the feed from a specific news source. Great app BTW!!!1 vote
As many are on metered data plans, it would be helpful to have options, particularly if offline access is implemented, to restrict some, if not all operations to wifi only.5 votes
For upcoming updates
* Unread / total articles count on the feed title bar when navigating around (as feedly does on its web)
* Feed name to be clickable, opening main site in browser (as feedly does on its web)1 vote
Count and title is already there now. Will be planned for upcoming releases regarding opening the website on click of title.
